Dr. Gazzola spends a majority of her time as the inpatient adult epilepsy monitoring unit attending, where she rotates between 6-9 months per year. She oversees individual patient care with other members of the healthcare team. This involves daily video-EEG interpretation, as well as executing each patient's admission plan as safely and effectively as possible. During her unit time she interacts and teaches with medical students, neurology residents, and clinical neurophysiology fellows as they progress through their different levels of training. She is also involved with the epilepsy monitoring unit's quality assurance, and attend meetings regularly.
